Outstanding multi-species fishing: The Alexandria area offers outstanding multi-species fishing and absolutely some of the finest bass fishing in the state.
The DNR Fisheries and Wildlife State Fish Hatchery is located on North Lakeshore Drive just west of Glenwood and about 20 miles
south of Alexandria. You can watch trout and walleye swimming in the display ponds.
