Also, Kensington Runestone is downtown.

canoeing, kayaking, and hiking the wild prairie.
Lake Carlos State Park, contains tamarack bogs, marshes, woodland ponds and lakes.
Many parks have picnic areas, drive-in boat access, and cross country trails.
In Glacial Lakes State Park, where Mountain Lake is located, you can go backpacking through fields of wildflowers.
Then, hike the Glacial Ridge and Central Lakes
<a href=centralLakesTrail.htm target="_self" ><font class=onDark>Recreational trails</font></a>.
Both Molly Stark Lake and Annie Battle Lake are located in Glendalough State Park, which has a Designated Heritage Fishery.
<a href=winterFun.htm target="_self" ><font class=onDark>Winter activities</font></a> include the Andes Tower Hills ski area, Eagle Mountain Tubing and Cross Country Skiing, and the Arrowwood Resort Snow Center.
